Hello, I'm Chris, creator of the DisasterDuffel. After Hurricanes Katrina and Rita devasted the Gulf Coast of America in Aug. and Sept. 2005, I spent weeks doing what a lot of people did...I searched the internet for a good, high quality, affordable disaster kit that would protect my family from storms or terrorist attacks. What I found was disappointing. There were dozens of kits on the market, but none that seemed to have the right combination of things I could really use and at a price that I thought was fair.
